Cookie Policy

Last updated: September 2026

1. What Are Cookies

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work efficiently and to provide information to site owners. We also use similar technologies such as session storage on our mobile app.

2. Cookies We Use

Strictly Necessary

These cookies are essential for the Service to function and cannot be disabled.

  • subscription_flow — a short-lived session cookie set when you begin a subscription signup. Used to route you correctly if an error occurs during authentication. Expires after 10 minutes.
  • Auth0 session cookies — set by Auth0 during the login flow to maintain your authentication state.

Functional

These cookies enable enhanced functionality such as remembering your preferences.

  • Auth0 persistent session — allows you to remain logged in across browser sessions without re-entering credentials.

Advertising

Shown only to users on the Free plan. Subscriber and Premium plans are ad-free and do not set these cookies.

  • Google AdSense— Google sets cookies to serve ads, measure their performance, and — unless you opt out — personalise ads based on your visits to this and other websites. Google acts as an independent controller for this data. See Google's How Google uses cookies for advertising and manage ad personalisation via Google Ads Settings or aboutads.info.

Analytics & Performance

We do not currently use any third-party analytics cookies. Server-side application logs are used for performance monitoring and do not set cookies on your device.

3. Managing Cookies

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to view, delete, and block cookies. Note that disabling strictly necessary cookies will prevent you from completing the subscription signup flow.

To opt out of personalised advertising specifically, visit Google Ads Settings or aboutads.info. Opting out will not remove ads from the Free plan, but ads shown to you will no longer be personalised to your interests.

4. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy as the Service evolves. We will notify you of material changes via the app or email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
